Alexander Kneller was born in 1973 to an English father and Czech mother. He trained in Fine Art, graduating from Camberwell College of Art in 1997. Alexander began working in furniture and then for 6 years at Mike Smith Studio where he worked on sculptures and installations for a variety of internationally acclaimed artists, architects and other organisations. Through his training and career he has gained extensive knowledge of various forms of fabrication and has matured his own aesthetic sensibilities. He debuted at TENT at the London Design Festival in 2007.
